RD: Well, weve done it - even though we never doubted it series champions! Of course my sympathies go out to the heart broken stars players and of course the few misguided fans. In the blazing sunshine are superior fitness was evident and we completely outplayed them in the second half. They only managed to get a goal via defensive frailties and the fact a certain Perry Howard did not comprehend track back but none-the-less we were simply another class. For instance Stephen Flynn of the Stars was obviously lacking sharpness due to long periods of sitting on the bench for Bulmershe, while Dom Bool was more interested in kicking players rather than the ball. Whereas our professional display left our fans elated in jubilation.
Looking back over the season there has been plenty for those very fans to smile about, despite the Stars controversial signing of Asian megastar Macca but even Maccas Stars were no match for our Asian influence of Fahad Quadri, and Gurpal Im best looking Asian ever Gill
Interviewer: What is your initial reaction to the World Cup squad announcements?
RD: Of course Im delighted to be going to Portugal with fellow compatriots Richard Walker, Tom Maycock and Robert Street. I would add Perry Howard; yet he will be inevitably injured and unable to travel. Its a shame that Craig Eales is too lazy to make the trip to Portugal also. There are also plans of kicking out Sven Goran Erikkson and replacing him with a very Successful manager, Mr Fahad Quadri who has lead the Angels to so many victories that it is amazing.
I would also like to congratulate the following for their call ups:
Matt Webb-France (If his mum lets him go)
Peter Sawyer-Democratic Republic of MacDonalds
Thanks also to the many fans that have supported myself and the team throughout the season, you are our 12th man and we value your loyal support tremendously.
Interviewer: What does the future have in hold for you now that the Angels era is likely to have come to a sad end?
RD: Well I may try and settle down with a lovely lady and raise a family, but most probably Ill look for a multi-million pound transfer to the blue side of North London and live it up and get some gold-digger for a wife (that red side is bloody awful by the way).

SPECIAL BROADCAST:
Radio Geezer: New News, Peter Sawyer has admitted to paying Collette Howe for what he wanted as the sex he wanted, he wernt getting and  the sex he was getting...he wernt wanting. He is due to appear in a magistrates court soon for the hearing'

-------Thurs 6th May 2004------
Angels radio presents exclusive interview with international pair Ritchie Dann and Richard Walker,
This is a bulletin to all angels out there to let you know whats been happening down at the courts training complex, Bulmershe, and also tie up a few loose ends concerning unsettling media stories
-
RD: Firstly id like to make it clear the whole team are not pleased with our latest performance in which we were all below par and aim to put this right for the next game
-
RW: I agree wholeheartedly, now that certain issues have been cleared up at the club we can get back to playing football again.
-
Radio geezer: Well thats certainly good to hear, are u in a position to disclose the problems which has dogged the team in recent months as you are aware the media has came to its own conclusions could you verify the truth for your fans?
-
RW: Of course, many issues have been sorted out namely the drugs scandal of one peter sawyer, now hes been farmed to Italy we can get back to playing football rather than watching our backs in the showers. And on a personal note now Cambridge are assured div 3 football next year I can concentrate on my own game again
-
RD: There is a real spirit amongst the players now although Fahad can tend to go to far,  but none the less things are looking up and mite I add, I would like to pledge my future to the angels for foreseeable future I have no intention of leaving to sign for Madrid, not even the desperate attempts of their biggest stars could tempt me away from the angels and I wouldnt leave my bonnie lass from the p.e. dept for anything not even Spain! (and yeah ill keep you all guessing, I wont mention her name shes a bit shy as it happens
-
Radio geezer: without being rude I heard it was Accrington and Stanley who offered you a trial but decided you werent up to it claiming you are living off your image and good performances of old and your superstar status of yesteryear
-
RD: no no it was Accrington who came in for Matt Webb but that deal fell through after fears for webs safety he is suffering from threats after stealing another mans bird could be a while before you all see him again as he takes refuge in the far east
-
RW: On a final note, I would like to make it clear I am not, nor was I, anyway involved with a Colette Howe the rumours circulating are pure fabrication. And by the way, now Ritchie is soon to be single no- more (fingers crossed for him anyway) I would like to pronounce myself the new sex symbol of the team I know Im no substitute for him but Im ok right!?....
